“I am honest, happy, personable, athletic, and have always had a great love of children! In my life my children always come first; they are my main priority! If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I absolutely love being around children, it gives me such satisfaction! Children touch my heart and make me smile; they bring joy to my life as I would to theirs. I feel the children are a blessing. Children need love, structure, and guidance in their lives. Children are innocent and see the good in day-to-day life. I feel they are individuals and are all different personalities, so the needs of each child are different. My goal as a Nanny is to provide children with care, direction, support and discipline; to give the children the best day possible! I would like to meet the challenges of the child day to day, while making our free time fun, interesting, creative and educational! I would like to understand the parents’ wants for the child, and provide the best I can! I am willing to do housekeeping that includes laundry, house cleaning, errands, dog walking, and meal preparation. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am caring, determined, responsible, mature, and good! Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include arts and crafts, baking (age appropriate), walks, hopscotch, jump rope, sports, trips to the park, reading, and singing! Lois is the only person other than my immediate family that I trust to care for my son and it is such a pleasure to be able to go out and not have to worry at all about how he is being taken care of and treated. Lois not only watches him when needed, but she reads with him, gets on the floor and puts puzzles together with him, along with many other learning activities, but she takes him many of the places she took my siblings and myself when we were younger. All of my experiences with Lois as a caretaker and Lehigh County Housekeeper have been wonderful!”
