“I am a very energetic and fun person who loves to be around people! I am cooperative and can "go with the flow." I have my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and have taught and tutored students for 3 years. I would like to soon begin working on my Masters degree as either a Reading Specialist or as an English as a Second Language teacher. Nannying is outside of the classroom, so you can focus attention on a few children (depending the family) rather than 25-30. Also, I would still be able to teach the students by helping them with homework or helping younger students prepare to enter school. I think it sounds like an exciting and rewarding opportunity. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because working with children and watching them learn and grow is an amazing thing that I wish to be a part of. I too went into the teaching profession and taught for two years, then moved into social work. I was a Case Manager for Developmentally Delayed adults and children.
