“I pride myself on my great interpersonal communication skills and I am able to maintain friendly relationships with everyone I meet. Most people who know me would describe me as intelligent, honest, kind-hearted, and expressive. Being from a large family has helped me be more flexible and open-minded. I have years of experience caring for my younger siblings and cousins. I wanted to become a Nanny so that I may help families in any way, shape, or form - be it with child care, tutoring, light housework, or running errands. I would like to join the Nanny profession in order to help families that need assistance. I have been serving in some form of childcare for over 2 years and can honestly say I enjoy what I do! I feel the children are individuals with varying personalities, likes and dislikes, and abilities. However, some things they have in common are their honesty and their enthusiasm for all things new. I love working with children because they are always happy to be taught something new and interesting. My goal as a Nanny is to help the family I am hired to work with. My goal as their Nanny would be to make their lives as stress and worry-free as I possibly can. I am willing to do housekeeping including dusting, vacuuming, and helping with other chores. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am intelligent, honest, social, caring, and ambitious. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include cooking and meal times, reading and/or homework time, outdoor activities (such as going for a bike ride or to a park), arts and crafts, and music and movement. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be I believe it is important to be a good role model, teacher, and friend to a child. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 4 years and can honestly say I adore what I do!
