"I’m very friendly and well-articulated, honest and professional. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love and enjoy children. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 5 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel that children are smart, adorable, innocent and extremely beautiful, each in their own special ways. I have learned a whole lot from them over my years of experience. My goal as a Nanny is to provide love, affection, care, respect and special attention to the children’s daily needs while their parents are working and involved with their daily responsibilities working hard to provide for their family. My main goal is to make sure that both parents and children are happy and satisfied with all of the services that I provide in and out of their homes. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes laundry, sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, some cooking, polishing of brass, silver and fine crystals, antiques and fine art, organizing, maintaining flower garden, grocery shopping, household errands, and taking the children to doctors’ visits. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am diligent, professional, honest, efficient, and caring. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include arrange play dates, drive children to after school activities, assisting with homework, and supervise baths (unless they are of age and very self-sufficient). If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Live In Nanny in DC like me I would hope they would be warm, professional, communicative, and to have a sense of humor!"
"I worked side by side with Loretta in a three year old classroom. You can truly tell that she loves children and that they adore her. She is an excellent teacher because she has the ability to teach creatively and with the enthusiasm that children thrive upon. She interacted with each and every student. She made them feel that what they had to say was important and that she couldn’t wait to hear it. I was the primary three-year-old teacher at the daycare center. Loretta worked with me as an Aide at this time. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. She is one of the most nurturing, loving teachers that I have ever had the experience to work with. After she earned her degree, she went to work as a teacher in her own classroom in a different preschool. My 3-year-old son was starting preschool and I enrolled him full time there. I requested Loretta for his teacher because I knew that she was kind, creative and nurturing and I wanted someone like that for my son. He could not wait to go to school because of the positive atmosphere she created in her classroom. I was confident because I knew that he was in a safe loving place with someone that truly cared about him."
"Loretta always went above and beyond what I asked her to do. Loretta started with us just before my second son was born. Being a new mother, I was very concerned how I would be with someone with me all day. I worried that she might get in the way of me bonding with my child. I couldn’t have been more wrong! Loretta gave me the space that I needed yet did everything to make my life easier so that I could just focus on my son. She was great with helping my other son, with the adjustment of a new baby. She was always proactive when it came to helping me get the children together. I rarely had to ask, as she just knew. Having dealt with other nannies I know how rare this character trait is. Loretta was warm and kind to all of us. I never worried about the children, as I knew she loved them and would do anything for them! I highly recommend her as a Live In Nanny in DC."
"Loretta has been known to me and my family for the last two years. I can vouch for her honesty, integrity and hardworking ethic. On many occasions I had to rely completely on her loyalty, discretion and professionalism through her work as our personal helper and childcare provider and also at times when she would work and carry out tasks for me around my travelling, at home and more important everything related to my son. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending her to any new employer. She is a shining example of an articulate, smart, and very industrious woman. She will always be a member of my family."
"Loretta is an excellent childcare provider and was the perfect fit for our family! She has very warm personality and my daughter took to her very easily. My daughter is very sensitive and can pick up on people quickly, she either likes people or doesn’t which can be difficult when finding childcare. Loretta was wonderful with her and my daughter connected with her right away. Both my husband and I work in the city and between the commute and long hours, it was very important that we find someone reliable and dependable. Loretta was both of those and more. She is incredibly trustworthy and we have even had our daughter stay with her overnight. Her family is wonderful as well, which also proves just how qualified she is. Loretta is very motivated and helpful in many ways. She helped to get our daughter ready for school and cared for her when she got home until we returned from work for the day. Loretta would truly be an asset to any family as a Live In Nanny in DC."
"My first encounter with Loretta was as a teacher to my son. She taught the three-year-old class at the school. My first impression of Loretta was that she is a warm, loving and caring individual. She is that warm and fuzzy teacher all parents want for their child’s preschool experience. As an educator, Loretta is positive and nurturing. These qualities enabled my son to grow confidently and move onto the next level of preschool. Being in the three year old classroom requires a lot of patience and repetition. And there were days that seemed a bit more difficult than others, but Loretta was able to maintain her composure and maintain harmony in the classroom. When there was a struggle between two children, she used her caring attitude to resolve the conflict peacefully but with firmness that negative behavior would not be accepted in her classroom. All the students were taught to treat their classmates with respect. Overall, Loretta is a responsible individual. She genuinely cares for children’s social and academic wellbeing! I can’t recommend her enough as a Live In Nanny in DC."
