"I am a very patient and calm person. I enjoy being outdoors and I also enjoy reading. I love what I do and I feel very lucky to have a job that I love so much! I cannot imagine working in any other field. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love working with children! I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 5 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are a joy to be around! My goal as a Nanny is to provide a fun and safe environment for the children I care for. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes kitchen clean up, laundry, and pick up the children’s areas. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am friendly, encouraging, determined, calm, and helpful. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include play dates, arts and crafts, playgrounds/parks, and nature walks. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be a welcoming, loving family."
"Natalie fulfilled her job requirements. She was very responsible, trustworthy and patient with my three children. She was also helpful with various light housekeeping duties. Natalie came to live with us 2 years ago. She is a very mature and independent young woman who takes her job as a nanny seriously. She has been wonderful for my children and to us. She really enjoys being interactive with my children both inside and away from our home. She also helps out with any daily care activities the children may need. She has been wonderful for us and we highly recommend her as a DC Summer Nanny to any family."
"It is with pleasure that we highly recommend Natalie for any nanny position. She is a professional who has the qualifications, experience and kindness needed to care for and teach children of any age and to fit in with any family. Natalie started with us when my daughter was two years old and had my complete trust when caring for our children. She got my daughter ready for school, prepared her meals (which were always healthy), found play dates for my daughter, and always paid attention to my daughter’s needs. She taught my daughter how to read. Natalie always encouraged my daughter to excel and recommended that my daughter advance to a new dance class that included ballet and tap. It was important to Natalie that my daughter be exposed to different activities so she took my daughter to interesting, fun places such as the children’s museum, the zoo and the museum. One of the things that really impressed me was the Natalie potty-trained my daughter in a few weeks. After potty-training my daughter at home, my daughter proudly went to school in underwear and never had an accident. Natalie also discussed how to potty-train my daughter with me as it was important to Natalie that she get my feedback. In addition to caring for my daughter, Natalie cared for our three-month-old daughter Charlotte from the day we brought her home from the hospital. Natalie knew how to care for a newborn, including schedules, feeding, bathing, and how to teach early gross motor skills. She was able to balance caring for two children and give each the attention needed. Natalie also fit in perfectly with our family and always went the extra mile. While my daughter was in school, Natalie did the grocery shopping for us, cooked dinner, and did the family laundry. As with anything she does, Natalie was always willing to help in any way needed. I think one of Natalie’s most important qualifications is her love for children, which is evident in the bonds she establishes. my daughter loves Natalie and always looks forward to Natalie coming to our home. We will miss her a lot and give her the strongest possible recommendation."
"Natalie was an excellent assistant teacher. She was able to multitask and keep organized while managing all of the children. She followed the classroom structure and enforced the classroom rules so everyone was safe. Natalie is a wonderful person and teacher. She is compassionate, caring and reliable. I trust her with my own children. Natalie is an excellent communicator and always makes the children feel important. As a DC Summer Nanny, I think she would do wonders. She interacts with the children while leading them. She can handle multiple children and multiple tasks while keeping calm."
"Natalie was a wonderful assistant! She did not wait to be told what to do from day to day. She could anticipate my next move within the classroom. I did not have to give Natalie simple directions from day to day. I never had to worry when I have to leave the classroom for weekly meetings. Natalie would take my lessons and teach the class as if I were teaching myself! Natalie is very dedicated to the students, and cares about their education. She is very caring, loving and enjoys working with the students. I would definitely recommend her for a DC Summer Nanny position!"
"Natalie was wonderful with my children especially, but all of the children at the center just loved her! She was a teacher for both of my boys during their preschool years. She was wonderful and everyone at the center enjoyed her presence! I have also had Natalie care for my children over the summer months and she did so with ease. I never worried when she took them to the local parks or even the pool. I owe the great memories my family has had over our last few summers to Natalie’s influence. She is a joy to be around and an exceptional employee. I highly recommend her as a DC Summer Nanny!"
