The Nanny would, at times, be asked to bathe the children.

PARENT REQUEST:

"We are looking for someone who is friendly, patient, and loves children. Becoming a member of our family is important to us, and it really will not matter if the nanny has a background in a non-childcare position; in fact, if she has recently had an elderly care job in Chester County, it would prove to us that she has the personality and demeanor that would suit us!"

If you are currently in a Chester County elderly care job and feel that your skills will serve you well in another field, you are correct! A local nanny position through ABC Nanny Source will appreciate your loving and compassionate nature! The families below would agree, as they are speaking on behalf of nannies with credentials comparable to yours:

“Bernice was a valued special education teacher and employee at a Chester County elderly care job for 17 years. For most of these years Bernice's caseload involved babies and seniors with significant disabilities. The early intervention programs she worked were home-based models with professional teams visiting for specialized services each week. Bernice is so kind and caring. She engaged her clients and children immediately and was very successful with the disabled children entrusted to her alone. Bernice was embraced and complimented consistently for her patience, intuitive skills and her obvious love of the babies she worked with. Bernice demonstrated expertise in evaluating and assessing infants and their overall developmental needs. Bernice was also complimented for being "highly sensitive to her families" and for her ability to work with other disciplines while coordinating sensible team plans. Her success in coordination is a skill too many are truly never able to pull off. She listened, learned, and skillfully adapted her lesson plans with others on her team keeping a trans-disciplinary philosophy in mind. Soon, Bernice shifted to our 3-5 year old population. Now children with a diagnosis of autism were given support services in their home.' Trials through ABA were implemented and tracked on a weekly basis. Bernice used her own voice to motivate her children. She would change her intonation pattern and add a sing/song verse to motivate children to follow simple routine directives. Eventually and most importantly, her parents were able to mirror her techniques in order to "connect" with their children. She is wonderful and has our full recommendation!”

“Tracy was employed for two years at a Chester County elderly care job. After deciding she would rather be in childcare, Tracy began teaching at our elementary school. She consistently presented herself as a neat, attractive professional who maintains an image as well as being an enthusiastic teacher who is actively in¬volved with the children. She primarily instructed students of secondary school age with rather limited read¬ing and writing skills. Her skills with such students have been excellent in terms of both the motivation she can in¬still as well as the instructional tactics she employs. Despite having some students who have otherwise been dif¬ficult academically and behaviorally, she has encountered a minimum of behavioral problems and instead drawn praise from them and their parents. Tracy was thoroughly professional in her dealings with students, teachers and administrators. She was consistently punctual regarding duty and ad¬ministrative assignments. She was regularly thoroughly prepared in the classroom with appropriate objectives and effective presentations. She showed unusual intelligence and sensitivity in instructing learning disabled children. In sum, I recommend Tracy highly as a compe¬tent professional on unusual skill, intelligence and sensitivity with learning disabled youngsters!”

“Carrie has been a nanny as well as a caregiver for my elderly care job in Chester County. Carrie has been an asset to this position for many years and has proven to be an honest, reliable, interactive nanny as well as a competent caregiver for my father. Carrie goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the safety and wellbeing of my children and also makes my father feel very comfortable with her in our home. Her nanny resume is extensive as she had been a nanny for 13 years prior to working with my family! She is more than a nanny as she does not just sit around while the children are napping or are in school. She makes sure that the home is in order before she leaves and will help out with light duties to keep things running smoothly. Any family would be very lucky to have Carrie caring for their children and I wish her all the best!”

“Janet has been there to help care for my daughter whenever I have needed her! She did not only fulfill, but also exceeded all of the job requirements! When my daughter was an infant, I was able to count on Janet to drive my daughter, as well as feeding, bathing, and spending quality time with her. Janet has been a dear friend to me for most of my life, and the first position she ever took was working for my extended family’s Chester County elderly care job taking care of my Aunt Helen. When my daughter was born, I made sure she immediately became a part time caregiver. She has been there for me when emergencies occurred or when I needed to work a few hours. My daughter loves when Janet comes over to care for her, and I feel happy knowing my daughter is in such capable hands!”

“Earlina was able to take care of all my daughter’s needs! She kept her entertained, ran her to activities if needed, kept her on the schedule that I had in place. Earlina is a very responsible and caring person and is a wonderful Nanny! Though she worked a full time elderly care job in Chester County, Earlina was available for us on weekends, or when we went away. Earlina could definitely multi-task and get other things done for me around the house should I need it. My house was always the way I left it and my daughter hated to see that Earlina had to go home at night. I could not have been happier to have Earlina in my home! It was a great relief to know that my daughter was happy and that I could go to my office without worry!”
