If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love working with children. “Shetoi has worked for our family for the last three years. She has worked for us as a full time Center City Live Out Nanny during the summer and worked part-time for us during the school year. Shetoi has performed a variety of duties including light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, childcare, transporting our children to/from school, assisting with homework, and a variety of other activities with our children. Shetoi has consistently demonstrated high levels of integrity and dependability. She has shown a commitment to our family that has at times, has gone above and beyond that of a job commitment. As an example of this, I called her one night that my husband needed to go to the Emergency Room, and she came over and stayed with our children until well after midnight. In addition to the previous example, Shetoi has offered on several occasions to watch other people's children as we have gone to social functions with other couples/families. She handles multiple children well and has a great attitude in doing so. As a result, several of our friends have asked Shetoi to provide childcare for them on different occasions because of the great job she has done with our children and theirs in a group. She also has planned "play dates" for our children, which enabled them to interact with friends as she has cared for them. Shetoi has also demonstrated that she is trustworthy, as she has run errands and show that she is trustworthy when dealing with financial transactions for the family. One of our children has physical disabilities and Shetoi has done an exceptional job of assisting him with his needs, while encouraging his independence and the challenging him to meet the goals that his Occupational Therapist has set for him. She has assisted him with a variety of tasks including bathing, personal hygiene, brushing his teeth, clipping his nails, etc. She has done an exceptional job with helping him while still maintaining his dignity and privacy.
