“I really thought when I started interviewing Nannies in Center City that it would take weeks to weed out the good candidates. But I was so pleased to find that ABC Nanny Source only sent qualified candidates who were professional and experienced. We chose our Center City PA Nanny the same week we registered and she has been wonderful! The hardest part of the process was deciding between the great candidates!” |
“Pat has a great passion for the children as a Center City PA Nanny! She was a Sunday school helper in the children ministry for about 18 months. Through that time, she proved herself to be very reliable and faithful. Her smiling, up-beat energetic personality is truly a bonus! Pat was truly an asset and a valuable member of our staff!” “My daughter was under the care of Patricia for two years during her pre-kindergarten and kindergarten years. My daughter was familiar with pre-school, having attended since the age of sixteen months and loved it. Once Patty became her teacher, she became even more passionate about school and would have attended seven days a week if that were a possibility! Patricia has a natural ability with children that, as a parent, I envy. She is able to bring out the best in every child and instill a love of learning, both in teaching and as a Center City PA Nanny. Her use of hands-on projects combined with writing skills makes even the unenthusiastic child interested in learning. My daughter especially loved the themed projects that included a presentation from an outside expert followed up with a craft and a writing workshop. My husband and I will treasure the results of those projects for years to come! Patricia is a very organized person. Her lessons are always well prepared and well structured. She produces a calendar every month that is a delight to the eye and very informative. Patricia also welcomes input and participation from parents at all times. Under Patricia's care, my daughter had access to workbooks for math and writing. Pat's patience with her was phenomenal, as she asked question after question regarding her seatwork. These are just some of the skills that earned Patricia the prestigious Teacher of the Year Award in 2001. Pat very quickly identified that my daughter was gifted. The incessant questions and lightening responses did not phase Pat one bit. She was able to adapt her lessons to meet not only my daughter's needs, but also the needs of those who needed a little more time to grasp a concept. My daughter never complained of being bored in school with Patricia. Sadly, it is something she complains frequently about now that she is in first grade in public school. The joy that Pat gets from teaching children radiates from her! In the two years that she taught my daughter, I never witnessed her to have a bad mood, nor did I ever see her scold a child. Pat's ability to cope in stressful situations is remarkable. Sadly, her husband died during the year after my daughter left her care. My daughter made a beautiful but very sad card for her. Pat was able to take it all in her stride and did not allow herself to show her distress to her students. My daughter had the best two years in school that I think she is likely to ever have. Patricia will always hold a special place in her heart. I cannot recommend anyone more highly to you as a potential employee than Patty!” “Patricia worked at our facility, caring for children ages 6 weeks old through 5 years old, as well as serving school-age children before and after school and during the summer. I was the director, as well as the kindergarten teacher, and I had the pleasure of working with Patricia. Over the years, she worked in several of our classrooms. She worked in our infant room, with children ages 6 weeks through 18 months. She also worked in our toddler room with children ages 18 through 36 months, and she worked with our 3 year olds, as well. Patricia was my daughter's 3-year-old teacher. As a parent, and as an employer, I would highly recommend Patricia as a Center City PA Nanny, and for any profession that involves working with and caring for children! Over the years, she maintained the enthusiasm that she had at the beginning of her time with our school, always going the extra mile to provide a positive experience for the children in her care!” “I hired Pat to be the head teacher of a three year old class. Our school was a rather new one, and was growing rapidly in both part time nursery school and full time day care. I found Pat's background to be well suited to our needs and sensed her genuine concern for children and for becoming the best teacher she could be! She expressed at that time that although she had spent nine years in a community college setting, she had not been afforded many opportunities to prove her abilities as a head teacher. The staff of the college seemed to favor hiring teachers with bachelor's degrees and this proved frustrating for Pat. She was an eager learner, and an enthusiastic addition to our staff. With mentoring, she grew in her skills of planning developmentally appropriate curriculum and in her ability to interact effectively with parents. Her confidence built steadily over the four years that I worked with her. I found her to be more than cooperative and hard working! She got along well with all of her co-workers and was a delight to supervise. Pat has a unique outlook in her personal life and in her work. She is optimistic and helpful to others both as a teacher and Center City PA Nanny. Her attitude is outstanding and she is as reliable as the sun that greets us each day without fail! She excels in science and her classroom reflects it. She did far more with the children in the science area than any other teacher on our staff In addition, I found Pat to have a keen sense of evaluating developmental needs. She became excellent at identifying special needs and developmental lags and worked patiently with children in these areas of concern. I might also add that her collection of instructional materials and resources is one to be envied by any early childhood professional. To my great delight, Pat grew so much in her confidence and abilities that she became sought out by parents and was one of the most well liked teachers on the staff! She is an outstanding early childhood educator!” “I have known Patricia first as her piano teacher, then as a fellow teacher, and then as a friend. Pat is a very committed to early childhood education and really knows how to make learning a joy! Every parent would want their child in Pat's classroom because of all the fun, creative things she does with children as well as being very sensitive to each individual child's needs, never showing favoritism. Pat is like a walking encyclopedia of knowledge of nature, especially animals and plants – dogs and cats, turtles, ducks, birds and horses. It's amazing!! And she never runs out of energy! Any family would be privileged to have Pat as a Center City PA Nanny! She is healthy, reliable, always on time, unselfish, looks out for the needs of others, goes the extra mile and is just a very nice person. I cannot say enough good things about Pat! She has the wisdom of years, and also has the energy of a very young and active youth!” “I have known Patricia all of my life, as she is my sister. As we grew up, she was always someone I looked up to, and I always felt safe when she was near. The years roll by all too quickly, and then we are women and wives. I have seen her develop into a wonderful person with a love for children. I cannot name all of the numerous credits she has in her teaching career, but I know her students and supervisors have loved her! She is trustworthy, honest and knowledgeable in her profession and I would not hesitate to hire her as a Center City PA Nanny!” “I have known Pat for about 25 years. It was her enthusiasm that first attracted me to her! We worked together in a summer camp. Pat was one of the best teachers! She has a great connection with children and was always genuinely interested in them. Pat's calling is certainly working with children. I would highly recommend her for a Center City PA Nanny position where she has the opportunity to teach and encourage young people. I would always welcome any influence she might have in the life of my children and grandchildren. Her positive attitude, her zest for life, her creativity, and her imagination are only a few of the many character qualities that she demonstrates. There is no doubt in my mind that she would be a faithful and trusted employee!” “I highly recommend Patricia as a Center City PA Nanny! She contributed to the college library during one teaching year. Her continuing participation in the review of the library collection, her recommendations for current material, her involvement in assuring that students not only had the best information, but also knew how to access that information, and her supportive interest were all needed and appreciated! We ended that academic year with a better library because of her direct contributions.” “Patricia is a valued member of our community! She is conscientious and is a wonderful volunteer to our charity outreaches. I heartily recommend Patricia as a Center City PA Nanny!” Back to Another Center City PA Nanny
