“Shannon was punctual and reliable and Danny just loved her! She always kept Danny active! Her job was to keep Danny busy and happy and she excelled in doing this! I have known Shannon for many years. We worked together at a Bucks County customer service job several years ago and have remained friends. Since the first time I met Shannon, it was evident that she enjoyed taking care of the other children in the neighborhood. Years later she still has a passion for children, and I believe that Shannon would make a great nanny! She worked with my family and me to help take care of my brother Danny, who has a developmental delay. In this time Shannon demonstrated that she is patient, responsible and she ensured the safety of the child in her care. My family has two large, rowdy dogs that Shannon loves: she would be happy to work with families with different animals. She is also fun loving, and could guarantee a good time for all children. Shannon has fun in everything that she does and this is projected on those around her. She also enjoys activities such as fishing and hiking which would be fun for children of all ages and would keep them active. Overall I believe that Shannon would make an excellent nanny!”
“Michelle went above and beyond her job requirements. She always made sure I had a clean kitchen, and straightened bedrooms without being asked. Additionally, she kept track of the girl’s assignments and tests. I would be lost without her on a school night! Michelle has been great. My girls love her. She is kind and fair. She is also creative and fun. (I would come home on several occasions and find that Michelle allowed my daughter to put her hair in a million little ponytails. Of course she looked silly, but she would leave proud of her new hair-do.) Michelle was also very good with homework patrol. She worked diligently with the girls until homework was complete. Even if I came home in the middle of it, she kept working. For three years I did not have to worry when Michelle was in charge. She drove the girls to/from school and activities. She brought creative, fun things to do if she cared for them on weekends. Michelle always remembered the girls on holidays and even showed up at their birthday parties! I cannot say enough about Michelle. She has been my right hand! Michelle’s outgoing personality and organizational skills have been a tremendous asset to our family. I firmly believe that she has her previous customer service job in Bucks County to thank! It is obvious that the skills she learned at that job have really helped her in the world of childcare.”
“Shirley is bright, reliable, and affectionate. She is also well versed in child development, due to her work experience, university studies, and a natural affinity towards children. Shirley knows how to structure time well, but is also flexible. Shirley’s approach to caring for children is amazing. She is unfailingly cheerful and has a positive outlook on life. She exhibits many of the traits that you would find in employees at a Bucks County customer service job, personable, lively, and outgoing. I believe that these are all traits that are important when working with children. If I had to describe Shirley in three words, I would choose: caring, trustworthy, and resourceful. She is fun, and any family that hires her has very fortunate children indeed. Our son is five year old and Shirley has known him since birth. I nor my husband would hesitate to leave our son in Shirley’s caring and capable hands.”
“Our childcare provider, Laura, is a wonderful young woman who has cared for my two children over the last couple years. She was working at a Bucks County customer service job at my youngest daughter's daycare when we first met. After seeing how she interacted with the children I contacted her to watch my girls on random weekends and bring them home twice a week during my busy season at work. Laura is such a trustworthy and dependable person I knew she was the perfect fit for our family. My oldest daughter, age 5 has Type 1 diabetes and requires close monitoring and insulin shots. Laura learned the regimen quickly and was able to care for my daughter without any problem. I trusted her with the keys to our house and knew that my house would be well kept. She fed them dinner, put them to bed and took care of the dogs. My daughters love being around Laura! They ask when she will take them home again or come play. She loves to take them outside, color or just sit down and play games. She keeps us informed of the happenings while we are gone and is very easy to talk to. I highly recommend Laura and I believe she will be an asset to any family!”
“Deborah is amazing with children and handles responsibility well! She has a genuine concern for the children under her care and a natural ability to connect with them on so many levels. I look forward to every occasion when she cares for my 18-month-old son. I trust her judgment and abilities completely! I first came to know Deborah at a Bucks County customer service job where she was one of the instructors in the infant program at a children’s gym. My son Zachary was always responsive to her nurturing and expressive mannerisms, which instilled a certain calm but confident spirit in Zach! Her soft, playful, and caring voice, combined with her contagious laugh, has always been a special attraction and sense of security to him. As a single mother, I cannot express how appreciative I am of the influence Deborah has had upon my baby as he is developing through toddlerhood! Deborah also cares for Zach privately in my home every other week. She is truly special, and any family will be lucky to have her as their Nanny!”
