“I am an energetic, charismatic, and caring individual familiar with the Allentown After School Program. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love working with children, and find it stimulating and fulfilling! I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over five years and can honestly say I absolutely love what I do! I feel the children are in need of guidance, education, and care. My goal as a Nanny is to provide care for children along with creating a fun, safe, and enriching environment for them to learn, play, and grow. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes cleaning up after the children, such as after meals or play, along with light housekeeping such as straightening up the children’s rooms, kitchen, and living room. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am vivacious, charismatic, nurturing, patient, and motivated. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include educational games, reading to and listening to the children read, arts and crafts, outdoor activities such as bike rides in a safe area, taking them to a local pool, and various games outside, trips to local age appropriate museums, parks, and zoos. She has watched my children grow at each stage and she is comfortable and confident with them! My children love when Danielle comes over! She has a way with children, and they seem to flock to her. She engages them and always has something fun to do! For them, a day with Danielle is better than a day at the fair! I love when Danielle helps with my children! She can calm a screaming child and convince a shy child into joinging group play. Being the caregiver of triplets (two girls and a boy) means being able to figure out who needs what and in which manner.
